Please read some frequently asked questions before filling out an inquiry form.

 

Tours 

How do I schedule a tour?

In-person tours are offered with a scheduled appointment on Mondays at 9:30am. Tours are typically 20-30 minutes long. Please let us know in the inquiry form which date works for you. Tours are available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Waitlist 

How do I get on your waitlist?

We require a non-refundable $100 deposit as well as an in-person tour to secure your spot on the waitlist. After the scheduled tour, we will ask you to fill out a Parent Questionnaire for your contact information and your preferred start date. The Parent Questionnaire is only given to those who have completed a tour.

I have an infant under 18 months old. Can I still join the waitlist?

Both of our locations enroll at different ages. If you are interested in infant care (2 months+) then please send an inquiry form to L Street only. If you are interested in care (18 months+) you may send an inquiry to both locations.

Can I join the waitlist at both locations?

Absolutely! Both of our locations have separate waitlists, separate tour schedules, and separate deposits required. If you are interested in touring both locations, please send separate inquiry forms to each one.  

What if my preferred start date is not available?

Please indicate on your Prospective Questionnaire your preferred start date and we will let you know when our soonest available start date is. Our waitlist fluctuates and spots can become available if others decide not to enroll for any reason. In that case, we will reach out to you and ask if you would like to take the earlier spot, or keep your original start date.

What if I am on the waitlist but I want to defer my start date?

Your deposit is an agreement from us that ensures your spot in the program as well as an agreement from you that you will be able to start on your set start date. If you need to defer for any reason, we cannot guarantee that you can start on your new preferred date. Availability depends on other families on the waitlist. Please let us know as soon as possible if you would like to defer your spot and we will determine availability on a case-by-case basis.

Waitlist Fee

How do I go about paying the $100 fee? 

The $100 fee can be paid with a check that can either be dropped off or mailed in. We do not accept credit card payments for the waitlist fee. Please make checks payable to Busy Bee and write in the memo line that it is for a waitlist fee. Please note that waitlist fees are non-refundable if you choose not to move forward with enrollment.  

Enrollment

What does the enrollment process look like?

Once you are on the waitlist, we will check in about 3 months before your start date to see if you would like to move forward with enrollment. We will send out an enrollment packet that will be due no later than 2 weeks before your start date.
